A stable, programmable RF source for the bench or field
The SSG4522ALX combines dual frequency outputs, an amplified main output, and 0.1 Hz resolution in a compact wideband synthesizer. Three sweep modes support frequency start and stop, step size, and dwell time control.
Use the internal 100 MHz reference for immediate setup, or connect an external 100 MHz reference. Program it from the Bluetooth mobile app, Windows over USB-C, or a UART command interface.

Datasheet Notes
- RF CH2 is user-determined by multiplying or dividing internal VCO frequencies (selectable).
- RF CH1 coarse programmable attenuation 0–7; 7 = maximum power setting; 0 typically yields 10–14 dB attenuation. Ships set to 7.
- All phase-noise measurements performed with 100 MHz external reference; RMS jitter 50 fs. The datasheet includes phase-noise plots at 1, 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, and 22 GHz.
