VCO: CRO0900A-LF Ideal for Low Noise Mobile Radio Solutions

Z-Communications, Inc. announces a new RoHS compliant VCO (Voltage Controlled Oscillator) model CRO0900A-LF. The CRO0900A-LF operates at 895 to 905 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0 to 5 Vdc. This innovative VCO features a spectrally clean signal of -120 dBc/Hz @ 10 kHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 5 MHz/V.

The CRO0900A-LF is designed to deliver +3 dBm of output power into a 50Ω load while operating off a 5 Vdc supply and drawing only 13 mA of current. This low noise VCO operates over the extended commercial temperature range of -40 to 85ºC. The CRO0900A-LF features typical second harmonic suppression of -20 dBc and comes in Z-Comm’s standard, MINI-16-SM package measuring 0.5 in. x 0.5 in. x 0.22 in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements making it ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
