Z-Communications, Inc. announces a new RoHS compliant Fixed Frequency Synthesizer model SFS11300H-LF. The high performance SFS11300H-LF generates an output signal at 11.3GHz while operating off an external 10MHz reference. This remarkable X-Band PLLs output frequency is preset by an internal PIC controller thereby no external programming is required making it very easy to install. The SFS11300H-LF is further heightened by delivering exceptional phase noise of -90 dBc/Hz at 10kHz and better than -120 dBc/Hz at 100 kHz offset.
The SFS11300H-LF is designed to deliver a nominal output power of 0 dBm into a 50Ω load and operates with a VCO voltage supply of 5 Vdc while drawing 90 mA (typical) and a phase locked loop voltage of 3 Vdc while drawing 45 mA (typical). This low noise Fixed Frequency Synthesizer features harmonic suppression of -30 dBc and spurious suppression of -70 dBc. It is housed in Z-Comm’s standard SFS-L1 package measuring 1.0 in. x 1.0 in. x 0.22 in. The SFS11300H-LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and is available in tape and reel packaging.
The SFS11300H-LF is an excellent choice for radar systems, test instrumentation and various other applications and is guaranteed over the industrial temperature range of -40 to 85°C.
